Attempting Pot Roast

If you know me well, you know that 1. I don't like to cook and 2. I'm not *that* good at it. I love to bake, on the other hand.

Since it's MLK day and the stock market is closed, I had off today. I felt slightly motivated, just slightly. Went to the grocery store, stocked up on all of the ingredients for the Pioneer Woman's pot roast.

Now granted, I had to buy fresh thyme and rosemary...they will probably expire in my refrigerator. Awesome. Wish me luck.

Search for the Perfect Lipgloss

Why is it so hard to find a decent lipgloss? The color is important, but so is the gloss level...you don't want a lipgloss that is too sticky or too dry.

I recently tried this lipgloss from L'Oreal; it is called Watermelon Crush. It smells refreshing and is quite glossy...but the color is off, at least for my skin tone. I'm pretty pale but fake it with bronzer and this color is just too peachy for me. I need to get a "pinker" color but they are always sold out.

Will Power

Will power is only eating half of an “okay” cookie at a work function. Amazing.

My New Hair

Just realized I never posted an after pic of my hair. Wow, it is short. I'm not sure if I will ever grow it that long again...might have to settle for shoulder length! Anyway, love my stylist, Gail, at FX. the bangs actually look better now...but they still get in my face. I don't think bangs work for my lifestyle - they are a lot of maintenance.
