The Real Housewives...NJ vs. DC

Who doesn't enjoy the guilty pleasure of watching a "The Real Housewives of..." episode?  If you don't, I think you're lying!

I have been an avid fan of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ("RHONJ") - as well as OC and NYC - since the beginning.  Bravo decided recently to branch out their franchise to Washington, DC ("RHODC") - a place that I have lived!  So imagine my excitement.  Granted, I lived in DC for a few months during school and then Northern VA (Arlington and Alexandria, which used to be part of the city) for longer.

However, the DC show is so LAME!  It is dry and just more forced than the other shows (who thought this was possible?).  The drama is boring. 

At one point I wanted to move back to/work in the DC area again because I missed it.  Watching this show is killing that desire for many reasons (I'm remembering why I left the area...guess I had amnesia). 

Even Mark, who is a good sport about watching my shows, had to stand up during the show and say, "sorry, I can watch RHONJ but not RHODC."  HA  That's when you know it's bad :)

In summary...RHONJ = entertaining!

RHODC = dry and drab!

Mondays = Great Reality TV

I actually look forward to Mondays now.  Hmm that's probably because I am not working.  Anyway, Mondays are great because there is some "wonderful," ahem, entertaining, reality tv on!  Between The Bachelorette and RHONJ there is lots of drama and intrigue. 

For The Bachelorette, who will go this week?  Will Rated R finally be exposed for his false reasons for being there?  What will Kirk reveal about his past?  Will we see the one guy who never talks talk?  I think his name is also Chris?  Is Frank going to still think Ali is his girlfriend?  His eyes creep me out.  My favorite is Chris L. from Cape Cod. 

Now to RHONJ...I know we'll see more Danielle antics.  Looks like Kim G. is stirring the pot some more.  I really hope she does not become a "housewife."  She's pathetic and ever since seeing her try to "climb" the pole, my eyes have been burning.

RHONJ: Danielle is Crazy

This is not new news...but Danielle is slightly crazy.  What in the world did she do to her face?  Her eyebrows are not even close to looking natural.  I hate to rag on someone's looks, but how was she a model?  It looks like she's had too much face work done...and it's not helping.  I bring this up because she is trying to live too vicariously through her daughter's modeling "career".  Danielle talks about her modeling experiences but do they really exist?  Who did she model for...what did she model?

She is desperate...the way she asks her daughters for advice is pathetic.  Her daughters will essentially tell her to stop stalking people and to stop being crazy.  It's pathetic...it's a cry for help.  Her poor daughters.

Danielle complains about not having money...yet she continues to go get pedicures and drive her Range Rover.  She is quite the hypocrite.  

Lastly, what is up with Bravo showing 30 second clips of the show and then going right back to commercials?!?!
